Types of Videos
A StoryFile conversation flow is built around different types of videos. The most common video types are:
Regular Response Video
A StoryFile is primarily composed of regular question responses. After each user question, the AI dialog service will try to find the best regular response video match. One good story can actually match many different questions.
Resting Video
In between responses, the video player plays a looping resting video. This creates the appearance of a continuous conversation as the video subject waits for the next interaction.
Cannot Answer Video
This video plays if the AI dialog service is unable to find a confident match. The video can help suggest other questions and topics for the user to ask.
External Knowledge Retrieval
When enabled, this video plays when the AI dialog service finds a potential match within external documents and websites. This option requires that these additional documents are uploaded and indexed by Conversa.
Bad Transcription
This video plays when the input question is incomplete or ambiguous, perhaps due to background audio or user error. In this case, the video can instruct the user to ask again and to speak more clearly.
Intro Video
When enabled, the intro video plays automatically at the start of each conversational session. The video can set the stage for the conversation, providing useful background context and suggested topics and questions.
